Volunteer Global collects your name and contact information. This information is used to 
manage your donations and in a database for later contact options and functions. We may

time for interactions/views/visitors, referring website or social media. This information is 
collected to help us monitor online traffic from visitors to our website.  We may collect personal 
information such as:

the purpose of our projects and/or partnerships.

Donations:  
For donations, we collect your name, billing address, mailing address, email, phone number, 
communication preferences, interactions with our account/website, credit/debit card number and 
expiration date, and bank account information when you give a donation or gift. We keep a 
record of your donation. We use this information to bill you for your donations pledged, process 
any necessary refunds, and provide you with receipts for tax purposes. We may use this 
information to contact you with any questions, answer your questions, or resolve donor issues.  
 
 
How We May Contact You:  
If you provide your email address to us, we will use that contact information to send you 
newsletters or other information related to Volunteer Global and our projects and/or 
partnerships. If and when you receive an email from us, we may use certain tools to capture 
your information when you click on any links, information, or banners the email may contain to 
make a donation or purchase. We use this information to know how you connect with us and 
how to best contact you and how you interact with our communication. You reserve the right to 
unsubscribe from our emails and other communication and to correct any contact information 
given to us.  
 
We may collect your information in relation to a co-branded program and promotions with 
another company. This may be used to fulfill promotions or other brand requirements. 
We may receive or collect information about you from third parties, referrals, project or 
partnership partners, business partners, donors, or other public resources. This could include 
your email, mailing address, or phone number.  
 
When you provide your mailing address to Volunteer Global, we will collect your mailing address 
and may send you information about us, our projects, and/or partnerships, needs, and/or  
donation requests, monetary support.

● Right to Correction- The right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal 
information given to us to use or obtained by us.

exercising your privacy rights.  
● Right to Opt-Out- The to opt out of advertising targeted to you and the sharing of 
personal data.  
● Right to Appeal- The right to appeal actions in regards to your requests of Volunteer 
Global

Travel: 
If you go on a trip with or sponsored by Volunteer Global, we will collect your name, date of 
birth, mailing address, and international contact information as such your Passport, along with 
any other related or necessary information required for travel. This information is used to 
reserve lodging, airfare, busfare, or any other transportation needed for the trip, reserve your 
spot on the trip, send you information related to the trip and our projects, any fundraising 
information for your trip, and collect donations/travel expenses. We reserve the right to perform 
a background check on anyone signed up for a trip with or sponsored by Volunteer Global.  
 
 
Contact Us: 
When you provide your contact information to Volunteer Global for more information or 
feedback, we will collect your name, email address, account information if needed, and any 
information or content you send us. This allows us to reply and interact with you, receive your 
information, feedback/issues, and questions, and answer any questions you may have.

identity before processing your request. This may include collecting additional data to verify your 
identity.  
Under US Privacy Laws you can authorize someone to do this on your behalf. If you use an 
authorized user, a written notarized authorization agent appointment will be required; this can be 
mailed to address above.  
 
 
Prayer Requests: 
Volunteer Global may collect or ask for prayer requests. This information is used to pray for and 
with you and others that have shared their contact information.  
 
Children: 
We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn 
we have collected data from anyone under the age of 13, the data will be deleted as soon as 
possible.  
 
 
Do Not Track Notice:  
Do Not Track is a privacy preference that you can set in certain web browsers. We do not track 
the users of our website over time and across third party websites and therefore do not respond 
to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals.

vendors/third party vendors. Cookies are used to:  
● Identify problems with our servers and make our website more efficient and effective 
● Obtain information about what countries and domains visitors to our website are from 
and how they interact with our website 
● Targeted marketing, fundraising, newsletter, advertising purposes

● To keep track of and communicate with donors and donations

you choose to participate we may use the information to gather data about Volunteer 
Global or contact you later with information about Volunteer Global.  
 
Online Data Security:  
Volunteer Global uses Online Data Security- HTTPS with TLS encryption. TLS is “Transport 
Layer Security”. If your browser does not support TLS technology, you will not be able to access 
our TLS page and will receive an error message. Secure URLs always begin with “https://” 
rather than “http://”.  We use this technology in combination with encryption to make 
using your credit card as secure as possible on the Internet. 
 
 
 
Colorado Residents: 
The right to opt out of targeted advertising by means of capturing your browser based opt out 
preferences on our website(s) is currently only available to Colorado residents pursuant to the 
Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). 
 
 
Referral Programs: 
Volunteer Global may have referral programs/features that allow you to refer or notify someone 
of our ministry. If you choose to use this, we will ask for your email and/or mailing address that 
will allow us to send the referral information about our ministry and request to participate in 
contact and donation procedures. The information will be stored for future contacting purposes. 
If you refer someone to our ministry, you warrant that you have a personal relationship with
